Mouth Watering Malai Kofta Recipe
Kofta is loved by everyone and if we talk about Malai Kofta then it has its own audience and loved by everyone due to its mouthwatering taste. Whenever we go for a dinner in the restaurant then we have this dish on the top of our list. But now you can make this dish at your home with this easy recipe along with ingredients. In our previous post, we have shared the Recipe for Palak Paneer which is appreciated by everyone. Now take a look at the quick recipe for Malai Kofta.
Ingredients for Kofta:
- 4 Boiled potatoes and mashed properly
- 1 Tbsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 Red Chilli Powder
- Salt
- 1 Tbsp Cornflour
- Oil
Ingredients for Stuffing:
- 1 cup Paneer
- 1/4 cup peas
- 3-4 pieces of Kaju and Kishmish
- 1 Tbsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 Red Chilli Powder
- Salt
Ingredients for Gravy:
- 2 Tbsp Onion paste
- 2 Tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Paste
- 1 Tbsp Cashew Paste
- 2 Tbsp Curd
- 1/2 Tbsp Jeera
- 1 Tbsp Coriander Powder
- 2 Tbsp Garam Masala
- Salt
- 1/2 Tbsp Oil
Instructions:
- Gather all the ingredients we have mentioned for Kofta preparation along with mashed potatoes. Mix it well.
- Now take all the ingredients for stuffing and mix it well.
- Take the potato mixture, make small balls and smash it.
- Place the stuffing mixture inside the flatten kofta and make small balls of it.
- Now take a frying pan heat up the oil. Fry all the balls until it turns brown.
- Now take all the ingredients for gravy and mix it well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry cumin seeds. Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and cook it for 3 min. Add tomato and cashew paste along with curd into it. Mix it well and add the all other spices.
- Add water to the gravy and cook it for 3 minutes.
- Now, at last, add all the koftas into the gravy and you Malai Kofta is ready.
